Developed as a conceptual project for publisher Thames & Hudson, this brief challenged designers to translate early childhood storytelling into an immersive, sculptural reading experience. The goal was to create a "Paper Theatre"—a book that operates through movement, peeking, and discovery.
While the resulting prototype's complex, die-cut carousel format was ultimately too intricate for mass-market production costs, the piece was selected for the international One and Three Books: Paper Theatres curatorial project. It was exhibited at the University of Amsterdam as a celebration of the radical power of play, showcasing how books can transcend flat pages to become interactive, three-dimensional stage sets.
